Walt Cronin and his band churn through a baker’s dozen of solid Americana/roots music that segue seamlessly into country and folk, all delivered with an impressive baritone bringing to mind Kris Kristofferson and Leonard Cohen.

Cronin’s biggest strength, even more so than that distinctive voice, is his knack for writing great lyrics. His song, "Once Again," is deceptively simple but brimming with clever lyrics.

The most up-tempo track on the album, “All These Things,” sounds like a long lost Jerry Jeff Walker or Bobbie Bare song. Eight years in the making, but worth the wait.

Singer songwriter Mary Gauthier who wrote ‘Mercy Now’ had this to say about ‘Way Back Home.’

"Love it! I enjoyed the fierce spirit of perseverance in this, the willingness to just keep GOING. It’s beautiful!"

~ Mary Gauthier

He is the everyman musician, singing about real people and real emotions. Music to make you feel. Music to make you think. Rich experiential content with strong emotional ties to the theme.

~ Bruce Greenberg The Promise Live

Sense the World, Walt's 5th CD is crafted in his eclectic style covering Folk, Country and Americana with Rock overtones. Walt’s lyrical strengths and songwriting skills along with his producer Martin Beal’s array of musicality and arrangements combine to create a powerful and insightful album.
