About The Alpha Experiment

Daniel Willington
Daniel is a guitarist and composer. In his style you hear the power of Petrucci and the song of Satriani, combined with many of his other influences, which include Steve Vai, Bred Garsed, John Mayer, Frank Gambale, George Benson and Dereck Trucks.

Nelson Rufatt
Keyboards and Vocals
Nelson is a pianist and songwriter. His influences span the spectrum of piano giants from Fats Waller to Chick Corea, to bands and composer such as Astor Piazolla, Frank Zappa, Deep Purple, Dream Theater, Stevie Wonder, Benjamin Britten, The Beatle’s Queen and Kimbra.

Jack Single
Jack’s tone, style and precision on the bass gives the album a warm sentiment. His achievements include playing at the Montreaux Jazz Festival in 2008. His influences range from emotional technician Jaco Pastorius, to the intense playing of Stanley Clark.

Alex Hirlian
Drums and Percussion
Alex is one of Sydney’s top young drummers. With influences ranging from Led Zeppelin’s John Bonham and RTF’s Lenny White, to modern hip-hop and drum & bass drummers like Tony Royster Jr and Jojo Mayer, Alex rocks as hard as he swings.
