Stoney LaRue has traveled the world performing music for over 20 years, but has never been this excited about a new album of songs as he is with ONWARD slated for release in 2019. LaRue wrote several new songs and chose some great artists songs to interpret on the 12 songs that make up ONWARD. Being from Texas originally, LaRue always wanted to write a fun homage to his home state. On the album, he and fellow Texan Gary Nicholson wrote “Hill Country Boogaloo” to honor their heritage and that great area of the country they love. Stoney is enjoying touring more than ever and can’t wait to play his new music for everybody, as well as long time fan favorites like “Feet Don’t Touch The Ground”, “Oklahoma Breakdown” and “One Chord Song."
