Ray Jones – Die Tryin’

Ray Jones is a singer songwriter based in southwest WA, who blends influences of Americana with his own brand of country. His first single 'Die Tryin’ is lifted from his album 'Sleeping Rough' produced by Bill Chambers, and is based on a brush with death and going for broke with a fresh plan.

An established singer songwriter, Ray will bring you along on a soul fueled journey through sharing his original music and the stories behind them. Working alongside some of Australia’s great country artists, Ray holds his own as a natural storyteller, and will deliver a mesmerizing performance.

While working with Ray Jones on his new debut album I often had to remind myself that he’s not a legendary songwriter from Austin Texas. He’s from near Bunbury in WA and I believe he will be legendary in time. Ray’s vocals, guitar style and songs are as good as any I’ve heard in this country. – Bill Chambers.
