The focus track, "Learning to Fly," is one of the trio’s favorite songs and felt like a clear choice to record after the great loss of Tom Petty. Petty had a gift of painting pictures in his songwriting with simple images and metaphors that resonated with everyone. The group felt like this would be a perfect song for them, with each contributing lead vocals on different verses and all singing harmonies together.

Other featured tracks include: "Try" (P!nk), "Ring of Fire" (Johnny Cash), "Wildflowers" (Tom Petty), and "For What It’s Worth" (Buffalo Springfield).

Michael Logen’s exposed, confessional, Americana take on the hit pop song "Try" (originally recorded by P!nk) shines a new light on its lyrical depth and features the gorgeous, ethereal harmonies of celebrated Americana-songstress Lizanne Knott.

Jesse Terry’s says of his version of the Johnny Cash time-honored melody "Ring of Fire," “It is a song I’ve always loved playing live and that never gets old for me; truly a timeless classic. It’s such a passionate, primal and haunting song, complete with a perfectly sublime melody. "Ring of Fire" was a blast to sing and record in the studio, and that’s the mark of a truly great song—when it still feels flawless after being stripped down to a simple, organic arrangement.”

Lizanne Knott pays tribute to a favorite Tom Petty song, "Wildflowers," which draws the listener into its lair with sweet, reckless abandon. Wonderful harmonies provided by Jesse Terry and Michael Logen soar over sparsely beautiful music creating a song that begs to be listened to again and again. “You belong somewhere you feel free.”
