Los Angeles’ Future Pop sweetheart Happy Sometimes today drops "Love for The Weekend" the first single from her upcoming ‘Heartbreaker EP.

Happy Sometimes is signed to Australian label ‘Northern Streams’ headed up by Australia’s own multiple platinum recording artist song writer Ilan Kidron (The Potbelleez) and Artist Manager Myles Cooper.

"Love for the Weekend" is an Australian recording.

I had the pleasure of talking to Ilan and Myles about this song last May in LA and has since been building worldwide and its now close to 2,000,000 Spotify streams worldwide.

Happy Sometimes hit the ground running in 2018 off the back up a string of high profile features which has seen her crash Spotify’s "New Music Friday" playlist from the UK to the USA and Sweden with Love for The Weekend and DVBBS Parallel Lines).

"Love for The Weekend" sees Happy Sometimes collaborate with 15 year old Swedish Wonderkid Producer Elton Holmsten, with Ilan adding backing vocals.

"I got sent some tracks from this Incredible 15-year-old producer, Elton Holmsten. We went back and forth sending ideas online before we finally met up in LA where we wrote ‘Love For The Weekend’. My music is usually pretty emotional and introspective so ‘Love For the Weekend’ shows a different side to me…I got to think outside of my head and just have fun with it. You can really feel that ‘Don’t Give a f—k Only got Love for The Weekend’ attitude on this song."
