After its premiere on triple j’s Good Nights with Linda Marigliano, Australia’s alt-pop favourites Tigertown have revealed the stunning visualiser for their newest smash hit "Warriors". "Warriors" is the latest testament to the band’s knack for creating pop songs that feel huge and triumphant, yet all at once warm with an infectious and danceable energy.

"Warriors" comes ahead of Tigertown’s support for Tove Lo’s sold-out Splendour in The Grass sideshows in July, and a visit to North America in August where they’ll join forces with VÉRITÉ for her headline tour. "Warriors" is out now proudly on Inertia Music.

A song about the divide between fantasy and reality, "Warriors" carries on themes of love and introspection which lie behind much of Tigertown’s lyricism. It explores the internal monologue of two people who experience an idealised love in their dreams, which they can never quite transfer into the actuality of everyday life.

On "Warriors", Tigertown embody the foundation of pop’s tradition – turning emotion into art, pain into pleasure – taking the tribulations of the human condition and remoulding them into a glittering, celebratory audio spectacle – "I can’t shake the way I’m feeling / Coz I love you when I’m Dreaming".

The new single carries on from the euphoric highs of Tigertown’s debut Lonely Cities EP in 2015 and it’s wildfire single of the same name (10 million streams and counting), and the release of 2016’s Papernote EP, which saw the title track remixed by BØRNS x Tommy English and The Knocks. The past 12 months has also seen them crystallise their unique anthemic sound on the stage, invited to embark on a series of huge support shows and tours by the likes of Troye Sivan, St. Lucia, Panic! At The Disco and MS MR, and release remixes for BØRNS, Troye Sivan, Group Love and Crystal Fighters.

In both title and sound, "Warriors" is Tigertown’s most auspicious offering yet – a sign of their unrelenting momentum toward an even brighter future.
