Though Life Of Crime is the first studio album from Robert Kent Voss, he's no stranger to the art of storytelling.

RKV honed his song-craft with degrees in literature and philosophy paired with a healthy dose of songwriting for multiple genres and various bands where his diverse life experience has risen to the surface of the songs. RKV clearly bares his soul while striking an unmistakable chord of commonality with the listener.

Seeking a rich sonic bed for RKV's words to rest, producer Tyller Gummersall assembled an all-star band including:

Brad Pemberton on Drums (Ryan Adams and the Cardinals, Steve Earle)

Dave Jacques on Bass (John Prine)

Jen Gunderman playing Keyboards (Cheryl Crow, prof. Rock and Roll – Vanderbilt University)

Kinsey Rose singing Harmonies (Vince Gill)

Tyller Gummersall electric/acoustic guitar

Recorded by Chris Mara at Welcome to 1979 (Jason Isbell, Chris Stapleton, John Prine, Margo Price) in Nashville, this album harkens back to a time of real players on real instruments searching for that one "take" where it all comes together.

The first single to be released (2/18/19) is the title track (Life Of Crime), a brilliant depiction of the dystopian love story that is 21st century America both macro and micro.
