ROLLING STONE NAMES MAGGIE ROSE “CHANGE THE WHOLE THING” ONE OF THE “BEST ALBUMS OF 2018”

LIGHTNING 100-WRLT names “SMOOTH” one of the “Best Songs of 2018”

One of the most versatile artists of the past decade, Rose’s recently released album Change The Whole Thing showcases her diverse musical landscapes and definite contrast from her previous works. Already, her transformative new sound has been highlighted by Rolling Stone who noted, “…she’s 2018’s most transformed artist, fully embracing the more soulful side of her talent.” The Washington Post added,“…louder, looser, more spontaneous and better suited for her voice, which has always threatened to incinerate the eyebrows of anyone sitting in the front row.” B Sides & Badlands remarked, “… throwback grooves, big band arrangements and power singing,” and the St. Louis Post Dispatch said, “…Rose has taken the title of her new album to heart and changed everything about her career up to this point…”

 Change The Whole Thing:

Change The Whole Thing was recorded entirely live in the studio with a 13-piece band and no overdubs, capturing the authenticity and energy of Rose’s live performance. With an invigorating blend of soul, roots, blues and gospel, the album is Rose’s first full-length record release in five years and commands the attention of fans and onlookers. In 2018, she was named a YouTube Emerging Artist and a Pandora Artist to Watch, and was featured in Southwest’s Live at 35 program and in a National Land O’Lakes ad campaign focused on women empowerment. Quickly being recognized as a formidable force in the pop-soul, jam-band arena, Rose recently performed aboard the Cayamo Cruise with a lineup including Emmylou HarrisJason Isbell and Dawes. This spring, she will open select dates as direct support for Kelly Clarkson’s Meaning Of Life Tour and will make her debut at the 2019 Peach Music Festival in July.

Jambase.com recently premiered Rose’s rendition of the Box Tops classic rock song, “The Letter”  and exclusively announced her nationwide headlining tour dates with Them Vibes.
