J. London has a musical style that is unapologetically a mixture of Contemporary Jazz, Soul, Rhythm and Blues, Indie, and Inspirational music. The enclosed single "Come Over Here" (track 1 vocal and track 2 instrumental features John Carson sax) are two tracks of 11, from J. London’s latest record project "A New York Experience". J. London was curious about his natural father, whom he never knew, and traveled overnight by bus, to visit one of his half- brothers’ for the first time. Later that summer, during a family "get-together" back in Columbus, Ohio, J London was invited back to New York City by a cousin and friend the following year, to participate in 8 performances in 5 days. The experience inspired J. London to co-collaborate with Margret (Meg) Larcomb (co-lyrist) and Tony (Doctah X) Harrington to craft stories in song which evoked London’s experience of New York City’s life.

As a public relations representative of the Soul Jazz vocal artist J. London, I continue to witness his evolution his performance with his backing band "The Band of Friends". I have felt the energy of his vocal style (a la Will Downing, Al Jarreau) carry audiences away only to return uplifted and joyful from their experience. J. London, as a former member of the Smooth Jazz band "The Urban Jazz Coalition", continues to inspire music lovers and live audiences through his soulful jazzy interpretation on stage. J. London excels on the pleasant side of the music business handling promotional aspects with ease and a willingness to adapt to the needs of each venue.
